Wings of Mackinac

Surrey Hill

Wings of Mackinac is not the only thing you can visit while at Surrey Hill. Surrey Hill is located towards the center of Mackinac Island, past the Grand Hotel and beyond the front of Fort Mackinac. It is one of the stops on the Mackinac Carriage Tour route, and a good resting spot if you are walking up to British Landing. Surrey Hill has concessions, antique carriages, and many gift shops, including Brewsters of Mackinac.

Brewsters of Mackinac has high end sweatshirts with custom Mackinac Island logos, as well as travel bags, and custom gifts made by women owned and small businesses represented in the United States and around the world. They have a cozy atmosphere and friendly employees.

Well, I must endure the presence of a few caterpillars if I wish to become acquainted with the butterflies.  – Antoine de Saint – Exupéry, The Little Prince.
